Chapter 1: Foundation & System Landscape

  1. Provision PYAT instance (DEV/QA/PROD)
  1. Configure connectivity (SNC/SAPRouter), certificates, and network whitelisting
  1. STMS transport routes DEV > QA > PROD
  1. Activate Austria country features in SFW5 (as applicable)
  1. Activate required services: NWBC, Web Dynpro, PCC SAPUI5
  1. Security baseline: SAML 2.0 + OAuth; audit logging and key management

Chapter 2: Enterprise Structure & HR Master Data

  1. Company code settings: currency EUR; assign Molga
  1. Personnel areas/subareas aligned to states/locations and collective agreements
  1. Employee groups/subgroups aligned to statutory insurance grouping
  1. Wage types: taxable, non-taxable, SI-relevant, special payments
  1. Pay scale structures and collective agreement pay grades
  1. Benefits & allowances configuration (meal, commuting, etc.)

Chapter 3: EC-ECP Integration & Replication

  1. HRSFEC_PTP_CONFIG: RFC destinations and replication scope
  1. Map statutory attributes from EC to ECP (tax class, SI group, certificates)
  1. Wage type replication: IT0008, IT0014, IT0015
  1. Org mapping: Legal Entity, Location, Cost Center, PA/PSA
  1. Time data replication: absences/quotas to IT2001/IT2006 (as designed)
  1. Monitoring: SLG1, SRTUTIL, replication error handling runbook

Chapter 4: Payroll Engine & Time Management

  1. PYAT schema setup; country functions for tax and SI
  1. Payroll areas and period parameters; retro rules and cutoffs
  1. Work schedules and time evaluation rules (if used)
  1. Holiday calendar setup (national + state holidays)
  1. Absence quota rules (annual leave, sick leave)
  1. FI posting: GL mapping, payment methods, DME formats

Chapter 5: Payroll Control Center & Operations

  1. PYC configuration: validations for tax/SI, off-cycle, retro
  1. Payroll policies for monthly/weekly cycles (as applicable)
  1. Pay statement HRFORMS layout and legal text
  1. Unified configuration governance (roles, transports)
  1. Statutory reporting outputs and submission steps
  1. Payroll simulations, sign-offs, and production run procedures

Chapter 6: Testing, Go-Live & Continuous Improvement

  1. Unit tests: tax classes, SI groupings, special payments (13/14th)
  1. Integration tests: EC > ECP, Time, FI posting, payments
  1. UAT: Payroll, HR, Finance, external vendors (if any)
  1. Security & compliance checks: GDPR, audit trail, access reviews
  1. Go-live: cutover checklist, parallel run, first payroll hypercare
  1. AMS: statutory changes, year-end updates, continuous controls
